This is Oktoberfest “Mid Coast Maine Style.” Experience the taste of many varieties of regional craft beers. Listen and dance to four of your favorite local bands performing on the new performance stage and concert lawn. Starting at 11:30 a.m. is Backlash, followed by Vinyl Tap at 1:15 p.m., the up and coming Maine singer-songwriter Amy Allen (Amy and the Engine) at 3 p.m., and the day ending at 5:15 p.m. with Kilcollins.
At the large barn at the north end of the Topsham Fairgrounds (close to the stage) bring your appetite for a plentiful buffet and shop the crafters gallery. And from 4 to 5 p.m. compete for guys and gals prizes in the keg throwing and stein hoisting competition.
A portion of the annual Oktoberfest proceeds will be donated to the Brunswick Topsham Land Trust. Its mission is to conserve the remarkable diversity of the natural heritage of Brunswick, Topsham and Bowdoin.
