On the racing schedule was the Group Two division of racing, including Late Model Sportsman, Strictly Street, Thunder 4’s, Mini Trucks, and the flex race of the week was a Modified Exhibition.
The spotlighted feature of the week was a 35-lap Strictly Street race.
Starting on the pole was Dave Brannon, followed by Ben Erskine and Jonathan Emerson.

The big battle of the race was for third. Emerson, a 13- year-old driver, was able to hold off Tasha Dyer, Brian Robbins and Dan Brown. Emerson maintained his third place until race conclusion.
Brannon placed first, but failed post-race inspection due to the camber of his race tires. Erskine moved to first place, with Emerson second and Robbins third.
An exciting 20-lap Thunder 4 feature was next and starting on the pole was Leandra Martin of Richmond. Curtis Anderson and Richmond’s Nate Tribbet were behind her.
During lap one, Nate Tribbet passed Anderson on the inside of turn three for second. Wiscasset’s Ryan Chadwick passed Anderson on turn three during lap six for third. Chadwick advanced up the track, and during lap 13 passed Nate Tribbet for second.
There was a caution during lap 15. On the ensuing restart, Richmond’s Cody Tribbet passed Nate Tribbet for third.
However, Martin left a small opening going down the front stretch during lap 19, and Chadwick took advantage and headed inside to make a pass. Chadwick completed the pass on turn two of the last lap, and beat Martin across the checkered by only fourtenths of a second.
Chadwick said, “I would like to thank Shawn Smith. He is the guy that makes my car go the way it does. I want to thank both him and Zac for helping me tear down the engine for the tech inspection that we passed.”
Chadwick was point leader coming into Saturday’s race with 406 points. Cody Tribbet was second in points with 314.
A 25-lap modified feature was the flex race of the week. Starting on the pole was Kevin Douglass, followed by Mark Lucas of Harpswell and Ron Henry.
Early on, Lucas got a good jump off the start and took the lead from Douglass.
During lap 21, Doug McClure completed a pass on the outside of turn two for third.
Lucas went under the checkered in first, with Douglass second and McClure third.
A quick straight-forward 15-lap Mini Truck feature was next. Starting on the pole was Freeport’s Matt Curtis. Jerry McKenna and Matt Weil were behind him.
Weil passed McKenna on the inside of turn four for second during lap three. There were no other lead changes with Curtis first, Weil second and McKenna third.
This is Curtis’ second win in Mini Trucks.
An action packed 35-lap Late Model Sportsman feature had Tyler Robbins on the pole, followed by Chris Thorne and Allan Moeller Sr. On lap three Thorne took the lead.
Moeller and Josh St., Clair battled for third. They sparred back and forth. During lap 11, Josh St. Clair pulled ahead of Moeller, and passed him coming off of turn two for third. However, the pair made contact coming out of turn three.
Dave St. Clair got caught in the jumble and all three spun on the track. A caution was called. All went to the back. Shane Clark moved to third.
When racing action resumed, Clark headed inside and passed Robbins for second. Nick Hinkley of Wiscasset, who had started in 12th place, had advanced up the track into the top five. Hinkley passed Robbins for third during lap 12. Thorne took the win with Clark second and Hinkley third.
