FREEPORT — South Freeport Congregational Church’s Summer Blueberry Festival will be held Aug. 1-3 on the church grounds located in the village of South Freeport.

An attic treasures and jewelry sale runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday afternoon. Enjoy a free concert by the Chandler Military Band Friday night at 7 p.m. The sale continues the next day with more activities for families. On Saturday, “Spark’s Ark” animals will be there, as well as miniature horse carriage rides, interactive music by Earth Jams, “Vandini” magic and balloon show, Hula Hooping, a bounce house, face painting, games and much more.

Admission is $5. Fine arts and crafts, lobster roll lunch, barbecue cookout dinner, blueberry baked goods, and fresh squeezed blueberry lemonade will be for purchase.

At 7 p.m. enjoy a concert by local favorite “The Half Moon Jug Band.” Tickets for the Saturday night concert are $10 and can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com /event/750890.

Wake up Sunday morning for a homemade blueberry pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. for $6.
