After spending two days outside unable to move due to a medical event, David Crocker, 86, of Portland, was located Wednesday by Maine game wardens along Meadow Brook in Casco.

While out fishing on the brook on Monday, Crocker suffered a severe medical event, according to Emily MacCabe, a spokeswoman for Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. On Wednesday, Crocker received a phone call on his cell phone, which woke him and he was able to convey that he needed assistance.

Four game wardens and a Cumberland County deputy responded to the area and were able to locate Crocker after conducting a hasty search along Meadow Brook. Crocker was transported to Bridgton Hospital after being outside for more than two days.
