The York County chapter of United Bikers of Maine recently presented $500 to York County Community Action Corporation. The donation was raised by UBM at a fundraiser held in early March at Chap’s Saloon in Buxton. The United Bikers of Maine has for many years, through a variety of programs and events, demonstrated a commitment to serving families in need across the state. The fundraiser UBM held for YCCAC in March, called “Frostbite Fever,” is an annual event for the organization. York County UBM Director Bob Stupelis said that YCCAC was selected as this year’s beneficiary because of the agency’s work with individuals and families in need of safe and affordable housing.
