STEVENS, PA — Jeffrey D. Gustafson, 53, resident of Stevens, PA, died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born Feb. 2, 1961, in Milton, FL, a son of Victor L. and Janice (Pigford) Gustafson Sr.

Jeffrey was employed at MGS Incorporated in Pennsylvania as a machinist assembler.

He was a loving son, brother, husband to be and father. He was an adventurous kind of a guy. He had a great since of humor and loved riding his motorcycle. He was always there for his family and friends who needed him. He loved being outdoors, whether it was boating on the ocean, camping and panning for gold.

Survivors include his parents of Stevens, PA, his fiancee Tina Marie Chase of Stevens, PA, a son, Zachary L. Gustafson of Brunswick, ME, a stepson, Jeffrey D. Chase of Freeport, ME, two brothers, Victor L. Gustafson Jr. of Corpus Christy, TX, and Timothy A. Gustafson of Bath, ME, a sister, Tami L. Mitchell of East Petersburg, PA, his parents-in-law, Fred and Forestine Chase of Freeport, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick, ME. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the funeral home with Reverend Ron McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sabattus.
