Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Kennebunk will host worship services at 8:15 a.m. (modern Lutheran liturgy) and 9:45 a.m. (traditional Lutheran liturgy) through July. A coffee will follow the early service. During the month of August and the first Sunday in September, a single service will take place at 9:30 a.m., with fellowship and refreshments to follow the service. Beginning the first Sunday in August, a brunch will follow the service. On the first Saturday of the month, a free bean supper is held from 4-6 p.m. All are welcome to attend. On the second Monday of the month, a free lunch called the Friendship Lunch is held at noon. Noel Paul Stookey and Elizabeth Stookey will preside over a One Light, Many Candles multi-faith program, featuring readings from world spiritual leaders and original songs, at the Ocean Park Temple on Temple Avenue in Old Orchard Beach on Sunday, June 29, 7:30 p.m. Noel Paul Stookey is known as Paul from his performances with folk group Peter, Paul and Mary. The Kennebunk First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church will begin lay-led services at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday through September in the historic building across from the Kennebunk Town Hall. On July 6, church historian Sally Ashley and author Helen Rivas-Rose will present “Our Church, a Variation on July 4, 1776.” On July 13, Maureen Gill, a former professor, delivers “Understanding You, Understanding Me: A Journey Into Interfaith Spirituality.” On July 20, storyteller Margaret Jones presents “Storytelling as a Path to Spirituality,” and the month ends with Sally Keene leading “Finding Buddha in My Pew” on July 27. The Kennebunk Baptist Church began its summer schedule on Sunday, June 15. Services will be at 10 a.m. with Children’s Church during the service. Good Shepherd Parish, encompassing the Catholic churches of Biddeford, Saco, Old Orchard Beach and Lyman, announces a change in Mass times for the summer season: On Saturday, Mass will be offered at 4 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity in Saco, St. Joseph in Biddeford and St. Margaret in Old Orchard Beach. Mass will be at 4:30 p.m. at St. Philip in Lyman and at 5:30 p.m. at St. Brendan in Biddeford Pool. On Sunday, Mass will be at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph in Biddeford, in French and at St. Margaret in Old Orchard Beach; at 8:30 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity in Saco; at 9 a.m. at St. Philip in Lyman; 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Brendan in Biddeford Pool and St. Margaret’s in Old Orchard Beach; 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity in Saco; and 11 a.m. at St. Joseph in Biddeford. St. Luke’s in Old Orchard Beach is closed this season.

The West Kennebunk United Methodist Church, 160 Alfred Road, West Kennebunk, will host a series of concerts this summer. “Concerts in West K!” will feature a variety of folk, country, jazz and classical performers. In July, the church will present “Darlin’ Corey,” a duo of Matt Shipman and Erica Brown, performing Americana and bluegrass; and in August, the Boston-based flute and guitar duo of Peter Bloom and Mark Leighton will perform.
