A water main break near the Dana Warp Mill on Bridge Street in Westbrook on Wednesday morning snarled traffic, which was detoured down Brown Street.

Both lanes of traffic were impacted due to temporary road closure. Michelle Clements, a spokeswoman for Portland Water District, said the incident involved a 6-inch main at 87 Bridge St., and about 15 customers were affected.

Repairs were expected to be completed early Wednesday evening
