New works on display at gallery

Saccarappa Art Collective, 861 Main St., is exhibiting the work of Craig Becker from Tuesday, June 3, through Saturday, July 12.

An opening reception is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 5.

“Becker’s surrealistic digital prints, created from both historic and self-made photographs, are richly layered images exploring our past, present, and future. Becker combines multiple, unrelated images seamlessly, not only visually, but in a cohesive narrative,” according to a gallery statement.

Also on display will be the photographic works of Scarborough’s Kevin Brusie.

Guest artists include Russell Whitten, Barbara Brady and Jeff Woodbury. Also contributing are collective members Andy Curran, Frank Valliere, Melissa Post van der Burg, Caren Marie Michel, Tanya Fletcher, Jim Flahaven, Jonathan Eiten and Mary Brooking.
