I have had the wonderful opportunity to have William “Bill” King as my instructor for several criminal justice classes at Husson University over the last few years. He is an engaging and insightful instructor who strives to provide a dynamic learning experience for his students.
Through his teaching and the way in which he talks about his current and past careers, I can tell that he is a dedicated law enforcement officer and cares about the community he has chosen to protect.
When I heard that he was running for York County sheriff, I knew that I wanted to work on his campaign. My family lives in York County, and I know they will be safe being protected by a sheriff who cares so deeply about his job and who brings so much education and experience to the table.
Having spent the last five months working on this campaign only reinforces my belief that he is supremely well qualified to be sheriff, and that his dedication to his job goes above and beyond.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
