BRUNSWICK — Custom Home Theater Systems & Automation of Brunswick was recently named by Tech- Home, a division of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), as one of the best custom integration and installed technology professionals in the industry.

Awards were announced at the Mark of Excellence reception held during the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Custom Home Theater Systems received the Mark of Excellence 2013 award in the category of Retrofit Project of the Year. The award recognizes the ingenuity, creativity and expertise of an integration project where a new system has been installed into an existing residential structure, where the home or section of the home is not under construction. The entry must demonstrate how an existing home was upgraded with new technology, customer requirements, ease of use and how the most difficult install challenges were overcome.

CHTS was also named finalist in the Home Theater/ Media Room Project of the Year and the Specialty Project of the Year categories.

Lee Lareau, founder and president of Custom Home Theater Systems, said, “The award is a source of great pride to our firm, and shows our dedication to creating the highest level of service to our clients. Be it a large project or small, we are passionate about what we do, and are extremely gratified to be recognized by our peers in the industry on an international level.”
