BUXTON — The family of a home invasion assault victim has put up a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the woman who was attacked.
On Friday April 11, at 9:16 p.m., the Buxton Police Department received a call that a woman had been attacked in her home. Upon arrival, it was learned that the female homeowner had been assaulted, tied up and left on the floor, police reported. The three suspects, two men and one woman, reportedly left the home after taking some money.
On Thursday, the homeowners put up a $500 cash reward for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators, along with releasing a picture of the victim, seen above.
Buxton Police Chief Michael Grovo said the Buxton Police Department is “working hard following up information that we have been given,” and are being assisted by Scarborough Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the Gorham Police Department.
Anyone with information should contact the Buxton Police Department at 929-5151 or 929-6612.
