SANFORD — Goodall Library will host the following events during April:
Ӣ A Spring Fling Book Sale will be held in the Community Room from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12.
Ӣ The Better Business Bureau will present a program at the library on identity theft, scams and fraud at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15. The program will cover the most common scams currently circulating the community and the precautionary tactics to avoid becoming a victim. A question-and-answer session will follow.
”¢ On Thursday, April 17 from 10-11:30 a.m., the library will host a “Technology Petting Zoo.” A variety of devices will be available, along with instruction. The devices will include the Nook SimpleTouch, Kindle Fire, Kindle PaperWhite, Apple iPad Mini, Nook HD+ and Google Nexus. Participants will have a chance to practice using these devices, and to ask any questions they may have. If you own your own device, feel free to bring it in. Since space is limited, sign-ups are required. Call 324-4714 to do so.
Ӣ A gift basket raffle to benefit the library is on display and contains goodies from a number of area businesses. A winner will be drawn at the end of April.
