SANFORD — Literacy Volunteers of Greater Sanford will host a tutor training for new volunteer tutors in Adult Basic Education. Training sessions are free and begin April 7.
The training includes an online segment, which may be completed independently or with support, and a session where everyone will meet together. The first session is for those who want support for the online component and will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 7. The second, required group session will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 14. Both sessions will be at the LVGS office, located at 883 Main St. (in the Townhouse Mall), Suite 4, in Sanford.
