WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont man has been given a suspended sentence of two to eight years in prison in a fatal pickup truck crash that killed his best friend after the two played in a championship baseball game.
The Eagle Times reports 22-year-old Justin Pierce of Woodstock also received 150 days of home confinement on Thursday.
