AUGUSTA — The Maine Public Utilities Commission will be holding two public witness hearings in April to provide an opportunity for electricity customers of Central Maine Power to provide testimony and comments on the company’s request for a new alternative rate plan, which would go from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2019.
The first hearing will be held in the Worster Room of the commission’s offices at 101 Second St., Hallowell, at 7 p.m. on April 2. The second hearing will be held in Room 109/110 of the Abromson Center at the University of Southern Maine, 88 Bedford St., Portland, at 7 p.m. on April 3.
