Firefighters in Waterboro were still fighting a structure fire late Monday night that broke out a few hours earlier in a garage at 52 Dirigo Drive.

A York County dispatcher said the fire spread from the garage to an attached, raised ranch-style home. No injuries have been reported.

The dispatcher said fire departments from several towns responded to the blaze, which was reported around 8:45 p.m.

Coincidentally, a vehicle fire broke out around the same time as the house fire. The dispatcher said the car fire on Lake Sherburne Road in Waterboro was unrelated to the house fire.
