BIDDEFORD — Jeannine R. Godin, 71, of Biddeford, passed away late Friday morning, on Feb. 28, 2014, at her residence.

She was born in Van Buren on April 6, 1942, a daughter of Cecil and Rose (Gagnon) Ouellette.

She was educated from Van Buren schools.

Jeannine married her husband, Roma, on July 4, 1962. In 1982, they moved with their family to Biddeford.

She was employed by various local shoe shops for 15 years.

She enjoyed knitting, quilting, and arts and crafts.

She was a lifetime member of the Voltigeur Club in Biddeford. Mrs. Godin was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Roma on Aug. 21, 1989; one grandson, Joshua; and by 15 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by: four sons, Danny G. Godin, Michael R. Godin and Larry G. Godin, all of Biddeford, and Cecil W. Westlake of Colorado; one granddaughter, Allyssa; two brothers, Joseph Ouellette of Biddeford and David Ouellette and his wife Donna of Croydon, N.H.; two sisters, Bebeanne Gagne of Haverill, Mass. and Therese Godin of Claremont, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews.
