On March 2, Democrats throughout York County will caucus. Any registered Democrat, anyone not enrolled in another party and anyone who will turn 18 by Election Day (Nov. 4) may participate.
Those not enrolled in any party and first-time voters may register at the caucus. There will be an opportunity to meet candidates and conduct important business. To learn where and when your town is caucusing, visit our website www.ycdc.me.
But another important need will also be addressed, that of helping homeless veterans. At each town’s caucus, participants will have an opportunity to drop off new/like-new items of clothing such as coats, thermal or flannel shirts, jeans, and socks, for both men and women.
Please help those who unflinchingly and unselfishly helped all of us at home and overseas.
Thank you for your generosity.
–Diane Denk, chairperson,York County Democratic Committe

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
