SOUTH BERWICK— Author Judith Silva announces the nationwide release of “Voyage of Albatross: Journey to the Bahamas.” The biography showcases her passion for boating and a deep appreciation for the people of the Bahamas. The book is a narrative about Silva’s voyage with her husband, Jim, where they discover the warmth and hospitality of the Bahamian people. Together, they visit small villages and discover uninhabited islands. They wander around caves and snorkel in an underwater world. Within their adventures, they encounter adverse weather, groundings, mechanical breakdowns, health worries and a bout with the Gulf Stream.

This is Silva’s second book about her sailing adventures with her husband. The first book, “The Voyage of Yankee Lady Circumnavigating New England on a Sailboat,” detailed their adventures in maritime Canada and Newfoundland. Silva learned to sail at a young age and has continued the activity with her husband, sailing from Connecticut as far as Nantucket and Maine.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
