Public supper – Saturday, Feb. 1, 5-6 p.m., American Legion Auxiliary of Gray, 15 Lewiston Road, Gray. To support veterans and their families. Beans, chop suey, cole slaw, hot dogs, breads and desserts. $8; $15, couple; $2.50, under 12.

Bean supper – Saturday, Feb. 1, 5 and 6 p.m., Prides Corner Church, 235 Pride St., Westbrook. Beans, ham, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, Italian bread, homemade pies and beverages. $8, $5.

Bean supper – Saturday, Feb. 1, 4:30-6 p.m., Hollis Lions Club, Palmer Hall, intersection routes 202 and 35, Hollis. Beans, hot dogs, chop suey, and desserts. $8, $3.

Hawaiian luau buffet – Saturday, Feb. 1, 5-7 p.m., Faith Lutheran Church, 988 Roosevelt Trail, North Windham. Free-will donation to benefit those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Unpack your favorite Hawaiian shirt or dress and enjoy the sounds of the islands. Snow date is Feb. 8.

Free meal – Wednesday, Feb. 5, 5:30-6 p.m., My Place Teen Center, 755 Main St., Westbrook. Sponsored in collaboration with Wayside Food Programs and hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church at the teen center. Use the Foster Street entrance. Handicapped accessible.

Community meal – Thursday, Feb. 6, noon, Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Roast pork. Suggested donation. $5.
