WEST BATH — Harold Roberts of Coyrell Clayworks and Nan Kilbourn Tara of Mud Cove Pottery will hold an open studio at Mud Cove Studio, 41 Tide’s End Road, off King’s Point Road.
Signs will point the way. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.
Harold Roberts’s work is characterized by stoneware in whimsical forms that are nonetheless functional, coated with earthy glazes. He also produces a line of slip-cast porcelain neti pots and companion accessories for bath and massage.
Nan Kilbourn-Tara, a partner in Markings Gallery in Bath, is known for her distinctive, painted terracotta bowls, platters, steamers and other utilitarian pottery.
