My Place Teen Center has chosen Kaylee Bradley for its November Member Spotlight. The spotlight is an opportunity for MPTC children to be recognized by staff and peers for contributions to the My Place community. Bradley was selected for the spotlight this month because she is such a positive role model for other kids, according the center. She is a hard worker and takes time every day to get her homework done, participates in activities, is always smiling, and is kind and respectful to other kids and staff, according to the center. Here are a few questions to help get to know her:
Q: Kaylee, how old are you?
A: I am 10 years old.
Q: Where do you live?
A: I live in Westbrook with my mom, stepdad, and younger sister. We moved to Westbrook this past March.
Q: What school do to you attend?
A: I am a student in Ms. LaRose’s fifth-grade class at Westbrook Middle School.
Q: Do you like school? What is your favorite class?
A: I do like school. I especially love gym class.
Q: How long have you been coming to My Place Teen Center?
A: I started coming after school this September. I come almost every day.
Q: What do you like best about My Place Teen Center?
A: I like hanging out with my friends. Most of all, I really love that I get to decide what I want to do when I come here. I enjoy the independence.
