YARMOUTH — A 47-yearold Freeport man has been indicted after drug agents say he sold high-quality methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school in July.
Patrick Clark, 47, of Freeport was indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury on one count of aggravated drug trafficking and one count of drug trafficking.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Cmdr. Scott Pelletier said Wednesday undercover agents purchased less than 4 grams of methamphetamine from Clark on July 15 at a school off U.S. Route 1 in Yarmouth.
“Although we do see small, ‘one-pot’ meth labs (in Maine), typically (they do not produce) this high-grade crystal that looks almost like broken glass, or ice,” Pelletier said.
He said the investigation continues and he expects more people will be charged.
