Incumbent Matthew Robinson is one five candidates vying for three available Gorham Town Council seats, and a School Committee incumbent, Kyle Currier, is also seeking re-election in a four-way contest for two openings on the school panel.
The annual Gorham municipal election is on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The council candidates are Forrest Genthner, Benjamin Hartwell, James Means, Bruce Roullard and Robinson.
Running for School Committee are Kyle Bailey, John Doyle, Pamela Irish and Currier, who is the chairwoman. All Town Council and School Committee seats are three-year terms.
Philip Gagnon, Town Council chairman, and councilor John Pressey are not seeking re-election. Roger Marchand, School Committee vice chairman, has also bowed out.
The deadline for submitting nomination papers was Sept. 23. Jennifer Elliott, acting town clerk, released the slate of municipal candidates on Tuesday.
Absentee ballot applications are available in the town clerk’s office in the Gorham Municipal Center, 75 South St., or by calling 222-1670.
