The former Westbrook and Scarborough bus driver arrested on child sex charges in January was sentenced Monday to 90 days in Cumberland County Jail.
Along with jail time, Stephen C. Mitton, 47, of 665 Saco St., Westbrook, must also register as a sex offender and cannot have any contact with minors, meaning he cannot drive a school bus.
Mitton was arrested for felony charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful sexual touching.
Mitton was employed as a school bus driver in Westbrook until 2011, when he resigned. He was also employed as a bus driver in Cape Elizabeth in 2011 and most recently at Scarborough until January 2013.
The mother of Mitton’s victim said he showed no remorse in the courtroom.
