Legacy Publishing and Westbrook officials will host an opening ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 3 p.m. at the new 26-space parking lot next to Riverside Park, off Main Street.

The project was a collaboration between the publishing company and the city to create more downtown parking spaces. The city agreed to pave the lot for the company in return for use of the spots.

Ten spots will be reserved for company employees, while the other 16 will be open to the public for use during the day.
