‘Ghost hunting’ at historical society headquarters
The Buxton-Hollis Historical Society has moved into its new headquarters and wants to find out whether any other beings reside there.
On Saturday, Aug. 10, from 6:30 9:30 p.m., the society’s program will be “Ghost Hunting” in its “new” 1912 Bar Mills Elementary School Library and Museum at 100 Main St., Route 4A, Bar Mills, Buxton.
Debbie Perkins will guide the group in exploring the spirits that may dwell in the society’s building. Perkins has won several awards in her work with paranormal activities. These include the New England Paranormal Awards 2012 Radio Show of the Year.
She has investigated paranormal activities in several states and is an experienced motivational lecturer and educator at paranormal events. She has recorded and produced many radio programs about paranormal activities for USA Paranormal Radio and Hollywood Red Carpet Radio.
Suggested donations are $20; and $10, students.
