BRUNSWICK — Dr. John Pelletier, D.O., recently announced the relocation of his osteopathic practice to 214 Durham Road in Brunswick.
According to a news release, Coastal Health and Wellness is oriented to the natural resolution of health problems through application of structural diagnosis and treatment as well as nutritional optimization and micronutrient repletion.
Pelletier graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992, where he received the New England Academy of Osteopathy Award in recogni- tion of outstanding achievement in osteopathic principles and practice. During his post-graduate years, he received multi-disciplinary training, and for the past 16 years has had extensive experience in both osteopathic and functional medicine approaches.
“The natural tendency of the body is to self correct,” said Pelletier, “and this will usually occur unless that tendency is overwhelmed by insult, injury or nutritional deficiency. The emphasis of this approach is to address these issues.”
Pelletier is accepting new patients and his office can be reached at 406-2698.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
