“LRSC put on another impressive championship meet,” said Long Reach coach Jay Morissette. “Our team balance and depth was unmatched by any team. We had a number of first-time 50- meter pool swimmers and they did not seem to be bothered by the extra distances.

“A majority of our 13-andolder swimmers camped out for the meet, having fun and good times and getting a little wet, but that just adds to our good times.

“After the meet the swimmers were able to take advantage of the pool’s water park and that was a trip highlight for all ages! I am very proud of this team and what it continues to accomplish. Our parents group did a great job working the meet, as did assistant coach Guerin Morissette in her first meet effort as an assistant.”
