BOWDOIN — “Simple Pleasures 2013: Three Women’s Views” will be on exhibit at Lamarche Gallery in Bowdoin College’s Smith Union.

The exhibit features art by Cynthia Asherman of Yarmouth, Sharon Culf-Gorman of Falmouth and Brunswick’s Judy Segal.

The three artists are friends, and paint together often. One of their favorite plein air adventures is being dropped off on an island in Casco Bay to paint.

The exhibit runs from Aug. 3 to 30, with an opening reception from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4. For information, call 725-3902.
