REGION TEN TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL Director Barry Lohnes presents the Susan P. Ripa Scholarship to welding student Gage Golding, of Freeport High School. Lohnes called Golding a “model for community service, volunteering over 250 hours to work with citizens less fortunate.” Golding, who has received the Student of the Quarter Award at Region Ten three times, will attend Eastern Maine Community College. The scholarship is donated by Brunswick residents Al and Gail Ripa in memory of Al’s mother.
