
HAVERFORD, Pa. — Matthew Liscovitz, son of Stephen and Carol Liscovitz of Brunswick, graduated in the Haverford College class of 2013, receiving a bachelor’s degree in classical languages.
Liscovitz, a Brunswick High School graduate, was a member of the baseball team, elected a member of the All- Centennial Conference Spring Sportsmanship Team in 2012 and twice named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. In 2011, Liscovitz was awarded the Class of 1896 Prize in Latin for Sophomores. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Howard Comfort Prize in Latin.
LIMESTONE — Hayden Ward Sehon Sartoris, of Brunswick, was one of 33 students awarded a high school diploma May 26 from the Maine School of Science and Mathematics. Sartoris, son of Scott R. Sehon and Jacqueline Sartoris, will enter Rensselaer Polytechnic University in the fall, where he plans to major in chemical engineering and is the recipient of a Rensselaer Leadership Award. The Maine School of Science and Mathematics is a public residential magnet school chartered and funded by the Legislature.

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Jaimee L. McCormack, of Freeport, daughter of James and Sharon McCormack, received Dean’s List recognition from Bucknell University during the spring semester 2012-13. She is a 2009 graduate of Freeport High School. McCormack graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in political science and sociology on May 19 and is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha national political science honor society.
CLINTON, N.Y. — Harrison B. Swan, son of Benjamin and Emily Swan of Brunswick, received a bachelor of arts degree from Hamilton College on May 26. Swan graduated summa cum laude with a degree in philosophy.
CHICAGO — Daniel Otis, son of David and Ruth Otis of Borrego Springs, Calif., graduated from Moody Bible Institute’s Biblical studies program on May 18. He will receive an associate’s degree, and plans to provide ministry support at his hometown church in Topsham.
BOSTON — Wentworth Institute of Technology students who earned Dean’s List recognition for the Spring 2013 include Chelsey Small of Durham, Alicia Eggleston of Topsham and Nicholas Greenlaw of Topsham.
SELINSGROVE, Pa.—Two local students received diplomas from Susquehanna University on May 12.
Molly Bogart of Brunswick graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. She is the daughter of Bruce and Nancie Bogart and a graduate of Brunswick High School.
Mats Haaland of Harpswell graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in history and Italian. He is the son of Christian and Susan Haaland and a graduate of Brunswick High School.
UTICA, N.Y. — Grace A. McCarthy of Bowdoinham recently earned a master of science degree in economic management from Utica College.
MEMPHIS, Tenn.— Christopher Meixell of Westport Island was among graduates receiving degrees from Rhodes College on May 11. The son of Jim and Carolyn Meixell, he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and mathematics. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
