Trinity group home from Ethiopia
Four people from Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook recently returned from a trip to Ethiopia.
On the mission trip, Abera Desta, Doug Moreshead, Martha Meyer, and Jane Sinclair helped to distribute books to a school in Nekemte and Bibles to prisoners and students. They also helped to build a footbridge over the Wadecha River, where people die every year trying to swim across during the rainy season.
They met many families of Trinity friends and members who are originally from Ethiopia. They presented a program with pictures and narrative on June 2 at a brunch after a worship service at the church.
