Bennett Lusk Brainard. Parents: Florence Lusk and Edward Brainard. Bennett is a member of the National Honor Society and Model UN. Activities include crosscountry, nordic skiing, tennis and Worldquest. Awards: Williams Book Award, Bausch and Lomb Science Award. Will attend Princeton University.
Abrin Berkemeyer. Parents: Holley and Brian Berkemeyer. Abrin is a member of the National Honors Society and Freshmen Mentor Program. Activities include cross-country running, tennis, indoor track, basketball and soccer. Awards: Junior English Award, Middlebury Book Award, Most Valued Player Tennis, All-Academic Team Cross Country, Second Team All Conference Cross Country 2012, Second Team All Conference Tennis, Winged Foot Award. Abrin will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute.









Rachelle Natalia Pallin. Parents: Carol and David Pallin. Rachelle is a member of The National Honor Society, Art Club, and Prom Committee. Activities include soccer, tennis, softball, Freshmen Mentoring Program. Awards: Oberlin College Book Award, WMC All-Academic Team, and Math Achievement Award. Rachelle will attend Wentworth Institute of Technology.

James Purdy. Parents: Jane Purdy and Jamie Purdy. James is a member of the National Honor Society, R.S.V.P., Seeds of Independence and Freeport Mentoring Program. Activities include football, baseball, freestyle skiing and photography/ videography. Awards: All Conference football, Solomon H. Plumber Citizenship Award, All Academic Team, Member Maine Chapter of National Football Foundation, and Western Conference Sportsmanship Award. James will attend Bentley University.

Sophie Smith. Parents: Diana Smith and Todd Smith. Sophie is a member of The National Honor Society, Interact Club president, International Interact, and Model United Nations. Activities include tennis, mock trial, mentoring and Freeport High School musical. Awards: Physics Award, St. Mary’s Cambridge, St. Lawrence Book Award and Rising Star award at St. Mary’s Cambridge. Sophie will attend Hood College after spending a year in France.

Lia Wellen. Parents: Shawne McCord and Andrew Wellen. Lia is a member of Seeds of Independence, Freshmen Mentor and Maine Model United Nations. Activities include nordic skiing, cross-country running and fall musical. Awards: Frederick Douglas & Susan B. Anthony Award, Excellence in American Studies/ English Award, Solomon H. Plummer Citizenship Award, President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Pride and Character Award Nordic Skiing, and Pride and Character Award Cross Country. Lia will be attend Clark University.
