Walker Book Clubs: The Noon Book Group meets at noon on Tuesday, March 16, to discuss “The Year of Living Biblically,” by A.J. Jacobs. The Evening Book Group will meet to discuss “Girl in Hyacinth Blue,” by Susan Vreeland, on Thursday, March 7 at 5:45 p.m. Friends Reading Group

meets at the Westbrook Community Center the second Wednesday of the month; refreshments at 3, discussion at 3:30. The next meeting is March 13, and the next book is “The Poacher’s Son,” by Paul Doiron.

Community center hosting camps

British Soccer Camp, ages 3-13, Aug. 19-23. Register directly through Challenger Sports at https://registration.challengersports.com/

Summer MPS Portland Phoenix Multi-Sport Camps, ages 5-14, starting June 24 and running through Aug. 2. Six different multi-sport camps to choose from. Sign up at https://korrio.com/groups/maine-premier-soccer/programs/.
