AUGUSTA — Anthony DiMauro scored 19 points to carry top-seeded Boothbay to a 67-43 Western Maine Class C boys high school basketball victory over No. 8 Wiscasset on Monday at the Augusta Civic Center.

The Seahawks (18-1) led 20- 16 after a quarter and pulled away from there to advance to Thursday’s Western C semifinals against No. 4 Madison. Boothbay held a 30-20 halftime lead and a 45-33 edge through three quarters.

John Hepburn chipped in 17 points, while Andrew Hallinan added 12.

For Wiscasset (11-9), Dale Peaslee had a game-high 20 points, including 12 in the first quarter, in the loss, while Austin Haskell and Travis Padilla chipped in seven each.

The Wolverines, who lose John Rines and Zach Ellison to graduation, were five of eight at the foul line, with Wiscasset going three of eight.

Boys hockey

Tyler Sullivan scored 3:22 into overtime as Brunswick pulled out a 4-3 Eastern A victory over Skowhegan at Winslow on Monday.

The Dragons, who improved to 9-7-1 with their second consecutive overtime win, visit Edward Little on Wednesday in their regular-season finale, while Skowhegan dropped to 12-4-1.

Dwayne Palmer opened the scoring for Brunswick with a second-period goal off an assist from Nate Granholm.

Skowhegan answered in the third period, getting a pair of goals from Trey Michonski 15 seconds apart for a 2-1 lead. Brunswick tied it on a Ryan Maciejewski (assisted by Matt Brooks) tally at 5:40, and Cam Heatley (Brooks, Kyle Woodruff) put the Dragons ahead, 3-2 with 3:42 remaining.

But, the Indians tied the game on a Jacob Johnson power-play goal with 20 seconds left to send the game into overtime.

Blake Alexander had 24 saves for Brunswick.
