World Heritage is seeking local host families for high school boys and girls from Europe, Asia, and North and South America for the upcoming school year.
These personable and academically select exchange students speak English and are bright, curious and eager to learn about this country through living as part of a family and attending high school.
Qualified families may select the youngster of their choice from student applications, photo collages and biographical essays. Once paired, students and families are encouraged to begin corresponding prior to the student’s arrival.
World Heritage is also seeking local high school students to become exchange students abroad. Students should be 15 to 18 years old and interested in living with a host family, attending school and learning about the lands and people of Europe, Asia, the Americas, Canada, New Zealand or South Africa. Students should be in good academic standing and have a desire to learn of another culture and language by living with a volunteer family.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
