BRUNSWICK — “Bottled Life: The Truth about Nestlé’s Business with Water” will be presented at Curtis Memorial Library, 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3.
Swiss journalist Res Gehringer investigated Nestlé — which has a global business in bottled water and owns Poland Spring bottling plants in Maine — by looking at operations in the United States, Nigeria and Pakistan.
Chris Buchanan, Maine coordinator of Defending Water for Life in Maine, will lead a talk about efforts to protect water in Maine.
The event is free to the public, co-sponsored by Occupy Maine Bath- Brunswick,Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom and PeaceWorks.
