BRUNSWICK
Police have delivered trespass warnings to 15 Brunswick High School students who filmed violent videos at locations including the former Brunswick Naval Air Station.
Brunswick Police Chief Richard Rizzo reviewed videos produced at the former base, the town library and other locations. He said he’s worried someone will see the filmmakers with realisticlooking weapons and dial 911.
The violent videos — which contain camouflage heroes, fake muzzle flashes and pretend blood — garnered USN Films of Brunswick more than 8 million YouTube views.
The students were given trespass warnings Friday. School Superintendent Paul Perzanoski said no disciplinary action was taken because there’s no evidence the students violated school rules.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
