The Mid-Coast Audubon Society’s midwinter birdseed sale helps homeowners enjoy the company of birds by attracting them with birdfeeders.
Proceeds help the chapter with its nesting box program and provide many free educational programs the group hosts throughout the year.
Prices are sunflower meaties, $24 for 25 pounds, $41 for 50 pounds; black oil sunflower seed, $18 for 20 pounds, $32 for 40 pounds; melody mix, $13 for 20 pounds, $21 for 40 pounds; thistle, $9 per 5 lbs; and suet, $2 each. Order by Jan. 25 at sschubel@tidewater.net or by calling 380-1370.
