BRUNSWICK — The Spacious Vision Song Project 2012 will present a program of songs and arias for the Christmas season at Bowdoin College’s King Chapel on Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Internationally-acclaimed singers Barbara Kilduff and Gerald Seminatore will be joined by pianist Brian Moll in a festive program of songs and arias by Bach, Britten, Handel, Mozart and others composers. The concert represents a rare opportunity to experience elite singing in an intimate setting.
Soprano Barbara Kilduff has been an operatic and concert soloist in some of the world’s most prestigious musical venues, including the Metropolitan Opera and the Bavarian State Opera, a news release said.
Tenor Gerald Seminatore has appeared in many operatic and concert venues, including the Frankfurt Opera, the Dortmund Opera, Glimmerglass and Santa Fe Opera, and the Aldeburgh Festival.
Pianist Brian Moll chairs the Vocal and Collaborative Piano departments at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Mass., and he performs frequently in concerts around the United States and in Europe.
Tickets are available at the door for $15 general admission and $10 for students, seniors and Bowdoin Friends by cash or personal check only.
