AN OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTMAS is coming again to West Bath. A traditional candlelight yuletide service will be held at the Old West Bath Meeting House on Berrys Mill Road on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Rev. Janet Leighninger will conduct the service, which is ecumenical and open to all. Carols will be sung and there will be scriptures and poems, as well as a Buddhist prayer for peace, read by community members. The historic old pump organ will be played. And free home-baked goodies and cider will be served afterward, courtesy of the West Bath Historical Society, which is sponsoring the event.
