The American Red Cross will hold several community blood drives during December.
All presenting blood donors will receive a coupon for a free regular 6-inch sub at a participating Subway restaurant. To make an appointment, call 1-(800) 733-2767 or log onto redcrossblood.org.
Local drives include:
Dec. 8: Mt. Ararat High School, Topsham, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dec. 11: Chewonki Foundation, Wiscasset, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dec. 21: Mason United 8, Brunswick, noon to 6 p.m.
Dec. 24: Lowe’s, Brunswick, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
