BRUNSWICK
Two people were transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland after a vehicle crashed Monday on Adams Road.
The crash was reported at 5:31 p.m. Captain Mark Waltz of the Brunswick Police Department said the driver of a 1997 Mitsubishi failed to negotiate the corner a quarter mile east from the Thomas Point Road intersection.
The car, driven by 22-yearold Peter Driscoll of Bath, went off the road and hit trees. Emergency workers had to cut through the car to get the occupants out.
Driscoll and passenger Jeanelle Merrill-Pyy, 32, were taken to Maine Medical Center, treated and released. Lee Patterson, 20, also a passenger, was not injured in the crash, which left the Mitsubishi totaled. Waltz said charges are pending the results of a blood test.
