THE NCAA DIVISION II Northeast Region Cross Country Men’s Championships 10K were held Sunday at Mines Falls Park in Nashua N.H. American International won with 48 points to beat out Bentley (64). Former Mt. Ararat High School student/athlete Andy Reifman Packett of Harpswell competed for The College of Saint Rose (Albany, N.Y.) and ran a 33:04, good enough for a 76th finish out of 188 runners. The freshman was also fourth for the team. “He was happy,” said his father Russell. “He wanted to be sub- 33:30. Now wishes he had gotten under 33. The team finished ninth out of 27 Division II teams from the East Regional. All in all, they were happy with the ninth, but thought they could have been as high as sixth had everything fallen right for them.”
