Emmanuel College in Boston recently announced Rozalind E. Smith of Freeport is recipient of Dean’s List honors for the spring 2012 semester.

Harrison B. Swan, son of Benjamin and Emily Swan of Brunswick, recently was elected to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College.

Phi Beta Kappa, which established a chapter at Hamilton in 1870, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country.

Swan, a senior majoring in philosophy, is a graduate of Brunswick High School.

Brunswick High School student Michael R. Perkins has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars, which recognizes top scholars who have achieved academic excellence. Perkins lives in Brunswick.

Kenneth C. Hall, a senior business management and music industry double-major at University of New Haven, was awarded the national “True Gentleman of the Year” award at Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s 77th John O. Moseley

Leadership School.

It is the highest award for an undergraduate member of the fraternity and is only given to one of the fraternity’s 12,000 undergraduate members every year. Hall is from Bath.

Molly Bogart, of Brunswick, is working as an intern this fall for the office of cross-cultural programs at Susquehanna University, where she is a senior majoring in political science Bogart is a 2009 graduate of Brunswick High School, the daughter of Bruce and Nancie Bogart.
