BRUNSWICK
Hoping to improve the flow of information and ideas between the evolving former navy base and its neighbors, Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority has formed a Community Relations Committee.
The committee will hold bimonthly public meetings, with the first scheduled for 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8 in the Morrell Meeting Room at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.
MRRA, the agency charged with transforming the former Brunswick Naval Air Station into a blend of residential, recreational and commercial space, formed the committee to improve contact and communication between it and the towns that surround what now is now known as Brunswick Landing.
For more information regarding ongoing redevelopment and meeting times and locations, check the agency’s website at www.mrra.us.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
