BRUNSWICK — Several Brunswick High School football players are among statistical leaders in the Pine Tree Conference.
Running back Jared Jensen leads all rushers with 1,554 yards and 16 TDs, with Messalonskee’s Corey Mackenize (76- 786) in second.
Other Brunswick rushers are Lucas McCue (43-262) and Alex Bandouveres (19-132), while Mt. Ararat has Matt Laurelez (12- 145) and Bru Abreu (29-118).
Brunswick quarterback Jason Carter is 7-for-19 for 193 yards, while Cony’s Ben Lucas leads with 113-for-199, 1,525 yards and 22 TDs.
McCue is Brunswick’s top pass receiver with five catches for 137 yards, while Chandler Shostak of Cony leads with 29 receptions and 417 yards.
Defensively, Jake Duff leads the Dragons with 53 tackles, with Oxford Hills’ Jordan Croteau first with 72. McCue has 36 tackles, while Mt. Ararat’s Joey Burr (33) leads his team.
