BATH — Bath Area Senior Citizen Center will open its doors for three performances of a new production titled “Tickless Time,” a one-act comedy written by Susan Glaspell and directed by Millie Ackley.
Performances will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, and Saturday Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m., at the Center at 45 Floral St.
A news release describes the play as follows:
Ian Joyce (Dick Higgins) attempts to do away with the standardized world of clocks and live his life by his sundial. With the support of his wife, Eloise (Bonnie McDonald), and his next-door neighbor, Mrs. Stubbs (Eleanor Grafe), all seems to be going in his favor until his friend Eddy (Willy Bryan) and his wife, Alice (Cheryl Carver), come to dinner. Will dinner ever be served if Annie (Phyllis McNelly), the Joyces’ cook, can’t cook without her clock?
Tickets are $5 at the door.
